  • STOP TRANSFUSION IMMEDIATELY!
  • Maintain IV access with 0.9% sodium chloride.
  • Assess recipient and check vitals signs (Q15 min until stable).
  • Perform clerical check.
  • Notify health care provider; request assessment if indicated.
  • Notify TML.
